With their 78-69 home win over Atlanta Metro on Sophomore Day, Feb. 21, the Golden Eagles men (21-9, 8-8 GCAA) helped clinch the fourth seed in the nine-team conference. As a top-four team, the Golden Eagles earned the right to host a first-round tournament game this Tuesday night, when Atlanta Metro will return to the Smyrna Community Center. Chatt Tech lost 73-64 at Atlanta Metro in the teams’ first meeting on Feb. 15, splitting the regular season.

Three Golden Eagles named All-Region, Grimsley ends season as nation’s leading scorer
DEMOREST, Ga. – Two Golden Eagles men and one Lady Golden Eagle picked up All-GCAA accolades after the completion of the regular season, with A.J. Mosby making the first team, Aysia Grimsley making the second team and Ryan Davis earning honorable mention status for the 2015-16 basketball season.

Chatt Tech falls 91-85 late to national No. 2 Georgia Highlands late
SMYRNA, Ga. – The Golden Eagles men carried a lead deep into the second half against one-loss Georgia Highlands on Wednesday at the Smyrna Community Center but could not hold on against the GCAA leader and nation’s No. 2 team. Chattahoochee Tech’s 91-85 loss dropped the Golden Eagles to 20-9 overall and 7-8 in league play.

Golden Eagles men rally in final minutes to down Central Georgia Tech
SMYRNA, Ga. – The Chattahoochee Tech men scored the game’s final nine points en route to a 71-68 comeback victory over Central Georgia Tech at the Smyrna Community Center on Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles broke a 68-68 tie with a Ryan Davis free throw with under a minute to play, then a Malik Jordan steal and layup with 1.7 seconds remaining gave the Golden Eagles their second straight GCAA win.
