Freshman guard Hyppolite signs with NAIA Point University

MARIETTA—Chattahoochee Tech guard Stephan Hyppolite signed a scholarship to play for Point University on Thursday at the college’s Marietta campus. Hyppolite, who was already committed to Point as a preferred walk-on, is joining CTC teammates Brannon Hopkins and Devonn Pierce at the school in West Point, Ga.

Hyppolite redshirted this season for the Golden Eagles, and will have four full years of eligibility with the Skyhawks. The 6-foot-1 combo guard lettered in basketball, football and track at Paulding County High School in Dallas, Ga., making the all-region team as a wide receiver.

Chattahoochee Tech finished 19-12 this season, its second as a member of the NJCAA.
