MARIETTA – Four Chattahoochee Tech men's basketball players have been selected to play in two Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association All-Star games in April. Ben Drake, Malik Jordan and Keith Ray will play in the league's Sophomore Game, and Jamion Simpson will play in the Freshman Game. The games will be played on April 15 at Central Georgia Tech in Macon, with the freshmen playing at 2 p.m. and the sophomores following at 4 p.m. The rosters were selected by the league's nine coaches.

Men’s Season Ends With 98-86 Loss At South Georgia State
Waycross, Ga.–Despite a 28-point performance from sophomore swingman Keith Ray, a career high, the No. 5 seed Golden Eagles fell 98-86 at No. 4 South Georgia State in the quarterfinals of the GCAA tournament Tuesday night. Chattahoochee Tech finishes the 2016-17 season at 21-10 overall.

Simpson Named First-Team And FOTY; Ray, Ojeh and Drake Also Honored
Freshman guard Jamion "J.J." Simpson picked up a trio of GCAA honors on Monday, March 6, getting named conference Freshman of the Year while making the all-conference first team and all-freshman team.
Plummer, Dozier Named To GCAA Second Team
Sophomores Janelly Plummer and Tymeshia Dozier have been named to the GCAA women's Division I all-conference second team by a vote of the league's coaches. The two guards gave Chattahoochee Tech the second-most players named to all-GCAA squads, with South Georgia Tech leading the way with three; five schools had one honoree each.
Golden Eagles Travel To South Georgia State In GCAA First Round
The Chattahoochee Tech Golden Eagles will hit the road to Waycross this Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. first-round GCAA tournament game against South Georgia State. CTC and the Hawks both finished the regular season with 21-9 overall and 9-7 conference records, but SGSC earned the No. 4 seed and CTC the No. 5 seed due to a tiebreaker.

Lady Golden Eagles Conclude Season At South Georgia Tech With 71-52 Loss
Americus, Ga.-The Chattahoochee Tech Lady Golden Eagles concluded their season Friday night with a 71-52 loss at GCAA tournament No. 1 seed South Georgia Tech. The Lady Golden Eagles, who earned the No. 4 seed in the GCAA tourney and defeated Central Georgia Tech last Tuesday in the first round, finish the season with a 21-11 record.

Men Fall On Gordon State 3-Pointer At Buzzer In OT
Barnesville, Ga.-Chattahoochee Tech fell at Gordon State on Wednesday night thanks to a Highlanders three-pointer at the buzzer in overtime, taking a tough 82-81 loss in the team's final regular-season game. Chatt Tech (21-9, 9-7) got 26 points from freshman guard Jamion Simpson on 10-of-19 shooting to go with five rebounds. Keith Ray also had 19 points and eight rebounds, and Malik Jordan pushed for a triple-double with 10 points, eight assists and eight rebounds.
