With the loss, the Golden Eagles are now guaranteed the No. 5 seed in next week's GCAA tournament and will travel to No. 4 South Georgia State (21-8, 9-6). The Hawks and Golden Eagles have played two close games this season, with SGSC winning 79-74 at Reinhardt College in a Chatt Tech home game on Jan. 22 and CTC winning in a 114-111 triple-overtime thriller on Feb. 18 in Waycross.
