Chatt Tech men thwart Golden Knights, 87-70

Cartersville, GA - The Chattahoochee Tech men moved to 9-0 on the year, with an 87-70 win over West Georgia Tech on Friday night at the Summer Hill Education Complex.

The Eagles built a comfortable lead early on and took a 45-28 spread into the intermission. Building as much as a 28 point lead at one point in the second half, the Golden Knights picked it up down the stretch to make things a little more interesting in the end.

Martez Winston and Cameron Carter fueled WGTC's offense with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Zach Landis turned in another solid peformance, chalking up 20 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five steals, as AJ Mosby and Dimychael Ross each had 11. Malcolm Hannah and Kyle Wright both tallied nine, while Bryce Wooten and Elijah Robinson had seven apiece.

Lady Eagles Notes: WGTC's women completed the season sweep of the CTC women, with a convincing 71-49 win. Janelly Plummer paced the Lady Eagles offense with 21, while Deidra Morris had 11 and Victoria Connor 10. Connor also talled 12 rebounds, as did Aujaia Cox.
