Cuthbert, Ga.-Despite 19-point games from both Tymeshia Dozier and Mariya Trimble, the Lady Golden Eagles (19-8, 4-7 GCAA) fell 74-60 on the road at Andrew College on Saturday.
Trimble also pulled down 10 rebounds, and Dozier had six assists and five steals in the game. Skylar Rossi and Janelly Plummer both had nine points in the loss.
Andrew drew even with the CTC women for fourth place in the GCAA standings with three games remaining; finishing in the top four of the regular season would ensure the Lady Golden Eagles a first-round home game in the conference tournament.
The team is back in action Monday against Central Georgia Tech with a 5:30 p.m. start time.
