(Waleska, GA) - Sophomore shooting guard Reggie Thompson drilled a career high 22 points in leading the Golden Eagles to a 100-82 road win over the Reinhardt University JV on Wednesday night.
Thompson did most of his damage in the first half with 15 points. Alijah Bennett also had 13 points, while Joe Howard also reached his career high with 11, as Marcelus Bradley got 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Golden Eagles moved to 4-1 overall on the year and now prepare to host Middle Georgia State on Friday in their second conference game of the season. Tip off will be at 7:30 at the Smyrna Community Center.
