Emerson, Ga.—As the CTC women did in the night's first game, the Chatt Tech men made it a season sweep over West Georgia Tech with a 115-95 victory at LakePoint. Jamion Simpson poured in 38 in the victory, which set a single-game scoring record for a CTC men's player.
The Golden Eagles (12-2) pulled away after leading 47-40 at half, with Simpson's 38 points coming on 17-of-32 shooting. Simpson also contributed nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Jalen Mitchell had 17 points, five rebounds and five assists, while Nkem Ojeh came off the bench to score 15 points, grab 10 boards and block three shots. Dajon Fuller also had a double-double off the bench with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
