Eagles gut out a defensive win on road at Georgia Perimeter, 70-67

DECATUR – Chattahoochee Tech men's hoops finished up its 2013-14 regular season with a 70-67 road win over Georgia Perimeter on Tuesday night, to finish alone in second place in the 11-team GCAA Division I conference for the second straight season.

Golden Eagles win wild one at Gordon State, 96-95 in OT

BARNESVILLE, Ga. – The Golden Eagles men survived in a wild overtime game at Gordon State College Tuesday night, coming away with the 96-95 road win in their penultimate GCAA regular-season game. Chattahoochee Tech got 34 points from freshman guard Amonte Potter, just one point shy of a career high, to move to 24-5 and 14-5 in conference play.

CTC women close tough season with home loss to Albany Tech

SMYRNA – The Chattahoochee Tech women's team (3-23, 1-19) finished up their regular season with an 83-44 home loss to Albany Tech.

SMYRNA – Chattahoochee Tech used a 27-0 run spanning parts of the first and second half on Saturday night, then staved off a late rally to get past Albany Tech 82-67 in the team's final home game at the Smyrna Community Center this season.

Lady Eagles fight to end but fall 71-60 at Middle Georgia

COCHRAN, Ga. – The women's team competed closely with Middle Georgia State, losing 71-60 and trailing just 57-54 at the 4:30 mark in the second half. MGSC went on a 10-0 run to put the game away.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The Chattahoochee Tech men's hoops squad took down Middle Georgia State on the road in a GCAA contest on Friday, 88-70. The Golden Eagles led 40-11 at one point in the first half, and the 40-17 at the break.

Golden Eagles men take GCAA contest at South Georgia in overtime

WAYCROSS, Ga. – The Chattahoochee Tech men's basketball team outlasted South Georgia College in a 94-90 overtime victory on the road Wednesday night, snapping a two-game road losing streak. The Golden Eagles (21-5, 11-5 GCAA) still remain in sole possession of second place in conference with the important win.

WALESKA – The CTC women hosted Central Georgia Tech at Reinhardt College, inside the Brown Athletic Center on Sunday. After giving the Lady Titans all they had, the Lady Eagles eventually fell 72-55.

WALESKA – The Golden Eagles hoops teams hosted Central Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon at Reinhardt University, and the men's team picked up a thrilling 88-86 victory in a back-and-forth contest. Alijah Bennett knocked down two free throws after getting fouled on a drive to the basket with 3.0 seconds remaining, and Central Georgia Tech's desperation heave from near half court fell short to give the Golden Eagles (19-3, 9-3 GCAA) the win.
