Eagles wear down Middle Georgia for 115-90 win

Rome, GA - The Chatt Tech men went on the road to compete the Dana Davis Classic at Georgia Hiighlands College Friday evening, where they took on an always tough Middle Georgia squad.

The Eagles traded baskets in the early going, before inching out to a 10 point spread. Middle Georgia kept things interesting with expert shooting from Trevanta White and Tyler Budget. CTC was able to take a 41-34 spread into the halftime.

In the second half, JJ Simpson led an offensive onslaught which saw the Eagles ring up 74 points in 20 minuts of play -- the second straight game CTC has been able to trigger a second half explosion. Jalen Mitchell and Philip Garner also contributed big halves for the Eagles, combining for 18. Middle Georgia was unable to keep up, as the Eagles continued to grow the lead.

Simpson finished with 28 points, while Mitchell 14, Nkem Ojeh 13, Garner and Donald Jordan each had 12 and Malik Jordan 10.
